there's no cruelty taking place here! The dog was having a dream! Haven't you ever watched a dog sleep? This happens all the time although I've never seen quite such a rare example. Obviously the dog was dreaming of running and then it woke itself up...I've even watched my cats sleeping, and they twitch and hiss and chomp their teeth like they're eating something...it's perfectly natural and normal and VERY FUNNY!!
